aloha kai is a Hawaiian kids and adults clothing brand and we want to spread the aloha. Aloha kai means “love of the ocean.”
My husband, Puna, was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, and I was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. When I was pregnant, Puna moved to Vancouver to be closer to me and my son Jase. We created aloha kai shortly after our second son, Kainoa, was born.
Puna, like many Hawaiians, is very proud of his Hawaiian roots. We started aloha kai to share our love of Hawaii, and at the same time it has allowed us to give back and encourage people to spread the aloha. Please visit the #spreadthealoha section to learn more about this message. We’ve chosen to donate partial proceeds to BC Children’s Hospital because we know first-hand what it’s like to have a sick child who needs urgent care.
Aloha kai is based in Vancouver, British Columbia. We’ve worked with our awesome graphic designer, Victoria Senges, to bring our ideas to life in an original way that we hope you’ll love. You’ll continue to see new additions to our collection as we work to keep aloha kai fresh!
Mahalo for taking the time to visit our page!
